In his spare time, David Bowles is an avid fisherman and amateur chef. He’s a private pilot and enjoys taking short trips with his family in their 1973 Beechcraft Bonanza.

Shelby Greenberg
Au.D., Doctor of Audiology
“I particularly love working with hearing aids because that is the one aspect of audiology where I can directly impact a patient’s quality of life by helping them hear again. I love a good challenge…working with those who have difficult cases. There’s a lot in life we have no control over, but every time I am able to find a solution for a patient who has given up on their hearing, I feel like I have made a difference. That’s what makes my job so rewarding”.
Dr. Shelby has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Disorders from Penn State (2000) and a Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from Nova Southeastern University (2004).
In her spare time, she enjoys her family – husband Adam and two daughters, Morgan (17) and Aryn (14). There’s also Jax the dog – the cutest pomsky ever. She also loves to travel and read.

Lauren Putira
Au.D., Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Lauren brings to us a particular expertise in the use of Real-Ear measurement, a hearing aid fitting technique utilizing a miniature microphone placed in the patient’s ear canal, enabling us to measure the sound output of a hearing device while it is actually in the patient’s ear. The sound output of the hearing aid is graphically represented on a computer screen, allowing us to literally see what you are hearing. We can then adjust the hearing aid to provide maximum clarity and sound quality. Dr. Lauren is a strong proponent of this technology, and we are delighted that our patients can benefit from her expertise in this area.
In addition to her clinical skills, Dr. Lauren takes a strong personal interest in each and every patient and genuinely wants the best for them. “I believe in absolute transparency. I thoroughly explain each patient’s unique hearing loss and try to provide realistic expectations as to the benefits they will experience with hearing aids. I truly want to deliver what I promise, and I won’t promise anything I can’t deliver”.
Dr. Lauren graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and then went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Lauren is an accomplished pianist and is currently learning to play the violin. She also loves anything that gets her outdoors to enjoy nature. She particularly likes golf, which she has been playing since the age of seven (she says she’s pretty good).
